![]() ![]() It' got to be electrical, right? Somebody please help me! Thanx in advance. Next time, minutes later, I got just 4, then 90. Hope I didn't forget anything-Oh, after the KOER test, I ran the cylinder balance test several times, sometimes I got a 90 (passing, all cylinders contributing equally) next time I got cyl. Ignition switch-messed around w/it but couldn't make it fail WTF? Here's a list of all I've done chasing this prob.Ĭleaned out cat/new muffler(sucker was clogged) Now I get codes for both the O2 sensors reading rich, but no ECT code. Got the ECT taken care of, and replaced the dr. Now, I've pulled the codes several times through the process of trying to figure this out(as well as thrown countless dollars and sensors at it) first it gave me 21(ect out of range), 92(HEGO sensor voltage high), and 33(egr not opening properly) not worried about that one, it's unhooked. So here goes, the subject is a 1986 thunderbird 5.0/aod that likes to shut off when it gets warm(we're talkin OFF, like someone turned the key off) no sputtering, coughing, nothing! Let it cool down for awhile, and it starts back up but generally runs rough until given a good long rest(several hours perhaps). Well I wanted to wait till I could stump you guys before I made my very first post.
